"I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, all that you’re yet to be.” Ernest Hemingway
The Ernest Hemingway Home is one of the most sought-after wedding venues. Once home to legendary author Ernest Hemingway, the stunning colonial-style estate sits on an acre of property in the heart of Old Town.
Lush greenery, tropical plants, and beautiful flowers surround the grounds, as do the six-toed cats.
Where to begin at the Ernest Hemingway House! Had our wedding here back in December. To say it was the most magical night of our lives would be an understatement. ~ Brianne Tansey
The Hemingway Home is a timeless and romantic venue full of history and beauty where memories of a lifetime are created. It's the perfect place for an unforgettable wedding experience.
This historic venue offers a private tour of the house for you and your guests during your event.

Audubon House and Tropical Gardens, in the heart of Old Town, offer a picturesque setting and breathtaking venue for weddings.
The back deck of the historic home provides a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony for up to 100 guests. Wedding receptions for up to 130 people, cocktail parties for up to 250 people, and dinner parties for up to 150 people can all be held in the gardens.
The gardens have been voted "the best outdoor location" for private events in Key West.
You can share a unique experience with your guests as the elegant mid-19th century home is available for private tours during the event so your guests can explore the history of Key West and the art of John James Audubon.

Truman's Little White House
Make your big day a historical moment and say "I do" at Florida's only presidential museum! The Truman Little White House, built in 1890, served as the winter home of President Harry S. Truman during his presidency. The Truman Little White House grounds offer a beautiful private setting for a wedding ceremony and reception. It’s among the largest wedding venues in Key West.
The gardens surrounding the President's winter retreat provide three lawns that can be used individually or together for your ceremony and reception.
The West Lawn is an open and spacious option for an evening wedding under the stars. You can set up a dance floor or create a covered area with a large tent. If you prefer a daytime wedding, the North Lawn provides a garden cathedral setting with its tall palms and towering Gumbo Limbo and Mahogany trees. The East Lawn, shaded by a variety of tropical shade trees, is perfect for receptions and dinners.
No matter which area you choose, the Truman Little White House's gardens provide a sophisticated and tropical setting for your Key West wedding.
Another unique idea for the newlyweds is to take a VIP ride around paradise in one of President Truman’s 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan limousines to the Truman Waterfront.
