On the Board, At the Beach, In the Pool
It’s time to relax the mind, body, and spirit and get one with nature as we explore the best outdoor Yoga Classes in Key West. Here are our top picks and three of the best outside yoga classes across the island, each offering a unique way to relax and find one’s balance: Lazy Dog’s Paddle Board Yoga, Aqua Yoga, and Yoga on the Beach.
Paddle Board Yoga
“The attitude of gratitude is the highest yoga.” —Yogi Bhajan.
SUPing is a great way to improve balance, gain core strength, and connect with nature. Toss in a few OMs, some breathing, and you have stand-up paddle board yoga, and what better place to do it than beautiful Key West!
Our friends at Lazy Dog Adventures welcome all levels to experience Paddle Board Yoga. Practicing yoga on a SUP brings a whole new perspective to being fully present in the moment. Asanas (yoga postures) create a new challenge while floating, requiring full awareness, acceptance of mother nature’s mood, and of course, a sense of humor!
“This was one of my bestest Yoga experiences I ever had. We started paddling out a short canal where we saw Nurse Sharks and Tarpons in the Crystal clear water under our boats - WOW!!! ~ Suzanne F., via TripAdvisor
All levels are welcome at this two-hour paddleboard yoga class. Any practice can be modified for the beginner or intensified for the advanced.
