Awesome Experience
The overall experience was amazing! Katie and Brady were spectacular and truly made the trip an incredible experience. We went on 4 other boat trips during our time in the Keys and this was far and away the best and the crew made the difference. We were on dolphins in about 20 minutes and we spent the next 45 minutes with dolphins swimming all around the boat. After leaving the dolphins we then headed out to the sponge gardens for some great snorkeling! Brady took some cool under water photos there and shared them with us. Katie and Brady were personable, knowledgeable and truly a pleasure to be around! As an added bonus the snacks were really good as well! Lazy Dog Adventures is one of the top ten boat tours and water sport adventures in Key West and is also a 2020 TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Award Winner! They offer kayak and stand up paddleboard tours and rentals and backcountry boat tours. A must see and do while visiting without the worry of social distancing and crowds.

Since we are focusing on small group adventures, let's talk about Lazy Dog's Back Country Eco Boat Adventure, a! 3 1/2 hours tour, 6 person max.

Guests will board the Lazy Dog pontoon boat for a half-day (3.5 hour) backcountry experience.
The experienced Lazy Dog captain will motor out to the offshore mangrove islands. You'll paddle or kayak on your own through beautiful, peaceful, winding mangrove creeks.
Not interested in kayaking or paddleboard and prefer to chill and relax on the boat, no problem. After the paddleboard or kayak adventure, the captain will take you to a sandbar (or deserted beach depending on tides) where you can relax, unwind and get away from it all.

Keep your eyes open for turtles and dolphins on the way to and from the offshore islands!

What's provided on this trip: Experienced Captain (usually has a dog too!), Paddleboard or Kayak, paddles, Non-alcoholic beverages, Fresh snacks, Sand chairs/umbrellas.
