Songwriters are heading to paradise, from May 1st to May 5th for the 28th Annual Key West Songwriters Festival. This year's festival delivers an unforgettable lineup over five days, featuring over 150 talented artists and songwriters across various venues from land to sea. This festival, renowned for its intimate performances and unique island settings, is not just a celebration but a deep dive into the stories behind the music that shapes our lives. Here are just a few of the names ready to head to the stage in Key West: Cole Swindell, Robert Earl Keen, Liz Rose, Lori McKenna, Dallas Davidson, Earl Bud Lee, Jeffrey Steele, Dylan Marlowe, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Bob DiPiero, Robert Randolph, James Slater, Tyler Reeve, Fancy Hagood, Ryan Hurd, Tommy Sims, Chase Matthew, Bridgette Tatum and more.

The festival kicks off with the Sunset Pier Kickoff Party on May 1st, at 6 pm, featuring Dylan Marlow and the Heartwreckers, setting the perfect tone for the days ahead. The excitement ramps up on May 2nd, 7 pm at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater, a ticketed event showcasing country music star Cole Swindell with special performances by Restless Road & Mackenzie Carpenter. Then, on Saturday, May 4th, from 7-10 pm, the iconic Duval Street block party becomes the heart of the festival, drawing thousands for a free concert headlined by Dallas Davidson and friends, promising an unforgettable night of music and fun.
New this year is Key West Women's Club - All Womens Round, featuring Rebecca Lynn Howard, Twinnie, Meg Linville, Emma Zinck, Brigette Tatum, and MaRynn Taylor. Also new this year is “Sunday Church” at Williams Hall (ticketed event), featuring Rebecca Lynn Howard, Elisha Hoffman, Tommy Sims & more.
In 2016 Jake Owen performed at the Key West Songwriters Festival, and this is what he had to say, “ “I love coming down here because, as a fan of music, I'm a fan of all these songwriters,” said Owen shortly before taking the stage. “When you see someone who's so talented play a song that they wrote or created, it's like art - it lives forever.
