The Best Way to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Key West

July 1st Poolside Pop Up at The Marker with Tucker's Provisions and Gilded Peach, Tunes by DJ Chaka

To kick off the holiday weekend, The Marker Resort has put together some great poolside events for our guests to enjoy. Tucker's Provisions will be offering some of the best classic Key West keepsakes around, while Gilded Peach will have their beautiful, locally-crafted jewelry on display. Creating a dance-worthy soundtrack to the pop-up event will be DJ Chaka-making it the perfect way to jumpstart your July 4th weekend.

July 2nd-4th Key Lime Festival

You can't get more ‘Key West' than the Key Lime Pie Festival! Running from July 2nd-4th, you can choose from the sip & stroll, the pie hop, or to compete in a pie eating contest! The Sip & Stroll is a key lime centric bar crawl, allowing participants to rate local bars on their drink offerings. The local bars included in this year's stroll are The Green Parrot, Kelly's Caribbean, Rick's, Smokin' Tuna Saloon, Bagatelle, and Caroline's Other Side. The Key Lime Pie Hop is an easygoing, family-oriented crawl along different dessert shops. Shops in this year's route include Rick's, Smokin' Tuna Saloon, Curry Mansion, Rum Distillery, Key West Key Lime Pie Co., and SHOR. Lastly, to kick off 4th of July itself, watch the Mile High Key Lime Pie Eatin' Contest!

July 4th Pool Party and Cook Out 1pm-4pm at The Marker

At The Marker we're known for our pool parties. Since the Key West Songwriters Festival, guests and locals have been asking when our next pool party bash will be in full swing. What better way to celebrate the holiday than with tasty, summer-themed offerings from Cero Bodega, and refreshing drinks from the poolside bar. Some of our special menu items include our pig roast plate with black beans and rice, as well as cook out staples like cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, and pizza. As for drinks we are offering domestic beer buckets ($20), loaded mimosas ($6), and margaritas ($6). July 4th Fireworks over White Street Pier 9:30PM

For a breathtaking fireworks show, look no further than White Street Pier. We do recommend getting to the pier hours before the main event, as spots go quickly for this well-known viewing spot. Enjoy the fireworks spectacular while looking out onto the water to truly evoke the spirit of the 4th of July in Key West!

July 4th Evening Hospice Picnic at Casa Marina

This annual Independence Day event takes place at Casa Marina Resort. The event will include a picnic-style buffet, refreshments, a silent auction, and great live entertainment. In true 4th of July fashion, we recommend staking out a spot early on in the night for optimal fireworks viewing.

Fury Key West 4th of July Offerings

Watch the fireworks from aboard one of Fury Key West's Catamaran's or Glass Bottom Boats. The Commotion on the Ocean Fireworks Tour includes live music, picnic-style dinner, fireworks, and 3-D glasses. Fury's Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour includes elevated picnic fare, reef tour, and fireworks.
