March 7th | The Conch Shell Blowing Contest
Celebrating its 58th year, The CONCH SHELL BLOWING CONTEST is an island tradition that celebrates the historic importance of conch in the Keys. This event features contestants in several age categories attempting (we say attempting because it's not as easy as you think) to make "music" with fluted conch shells. Contest located in the garden of the Oldest House, 322 Duval Street, free and open to all ages. Registration begins at 10 a.m., contest starts at noon.

Two of Key West’s biggest fall events. Fantasy Fest takes over October 16 to 25, and the World Championship powerboat races close it out November 1 to 8. Guests come back every year, and at checkout it’s usually the same: “Can’t wait till next year,” or “Can I stay a little longer?”
