Music is everywhere in Key West-it lingers through the air of a local dive-bar, it croons from the soul of a songwriter performing in Mallory Square. Music is woven into the essence of Key West, adding to its rich background of arts and culture. One of our favorite annual events is the Key West Songwriter Festival, bringing tourists and locals together to celebrate the iconic sounds of the southernmost city. This year marks the 21st year of the festival, running from May 4th-May 8th, 2016. Since the festival's beginning, BMI has helped sponsor to fruition and is now an annual tourist attraction. The five-day event also has many local businesses sponsors including us, The Marker Resort, and our sister property, the Southernmost Beach Resort!
Many of the performances are free to the public, while some do require tickets. Below we have outlined the events at The Marker & Southernmost Beach Resort!
